Adult Receiving Service

Provides diagnostic evaluation and treatment for individuals 18 years and older who have an acute psychiatric illness that prevents them from living safely in the community and providing for their well-being. Treatment is provided by an interdisciplinary team with input and participation from patients and their families, and addresses the emotional, cognitive, physical and social factors that led to hospitalization. The goal of treatment is to restore an optimal level of functioning and return to life in the community.

Continued Treatment Service (CTS)

Provides extended treatment for adults who have severe, persistent mental illness and may have experienced multiple and/or lengthy hospitalizations. Individuals may exhibit emotional or cognitive impairments and/or have medical problems which require active monitoring and treatment. CTS provides supportive, trauma-informed, therapeutic services designed to minimize stress and enhance day to day functioning. The goal of treatment is to return patients to community life with the skills and supports necessary to function successfully.

Adolescent Service

Provides diagnostic evaluation and short-term treatment for adolescents experiencing emotional and/or behavioral problems at home, in school and/or in the community. Identified problems may be the result of a disrupted or chaotic environment, medical illness, unrecognized learning disability, or a disabling mental illness. The objective of treatment is to improve awareness in both the patient and family or caregivers of the patient’s strengths and deficits in order to maximize continued development. The program supports the idea that each patient should develop a healthy level of functioning to enable him/her to live in the least restrictive environment possible.

Adolescent Substance Use Service

A primary substance use treatment program for male and female adolescents who are engaging in harmful drug or alcohol use behaviors. The program employs evidence-based individual and group behavioral health interventions grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Enhancement, and Twelve-Step Facilitation. In addition to targeting substance use behaviors, the program helps adolescents with presenting co-occurring diagnoses, family/relational problems, and impactful traumatic experiences.
