“There’s no place like MSH!”
On Thursday, May 21, MSH nurses were celebrated with a Nurse Appreciation Lunch in honor of Nurses Appreciation Week. The Wizard of Oz-themed event included grilled burgers and chicken with classic cookout sides, music from the one and only DJ Jasper Spires, games, prizes, and a fun photo opportunity for staff to enjoy together. It was a time to celebrate and say thank you to the nurses who give so much of themselves each day in service to our patients, residents, and hospital community.
Our nurses are an essential part of the heart of Mississippi State Hospital. Through their skill, compassion, patience, and dedication, they help provide care and support in ways that often go far beyond what can be seen. We are grateful for the work they do, the difference they make, and the commitment they bring to MSH every day. During Nurses Appreciation Week and always, we are thankful for each of them!
